Cynthia commented at the AGM last year that the 20-30 shareholders that attended was a really strong turnout for an exploration company.  There may be more shareholders out west but 4-5 times as many? And would 4-5 times as many actually show up for a business as usual AGM? I’m bringing this up because the meeting location piqued my interest;

-I Would think Vancouver as more accessible to more people.

-The LME law firm, Miller Thomson, have an office in Vancouver that has meeting spaces for their use like they did in Toronto last year.

-At a marina after years of lawyers offices and the directors own homes seems a step or two away from frugality

Annual and Special Meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Pacific Time) in the Ocean Room at the Victoria International Marina

So I looked up the the Ocean Room

Facilities are available at Victoria International Marina, and include:

Oceanfront Event Space – Referenced also as our Exclusive Reception Lounge, the Oceanfront Event Space transforms into a “room-of-its-own” in which to host a private event. The setting of the room, with views of the natural beauty of the west coast, is the perfect backdrop for any event sure to impress the most discerning guest. All will enjoy breathtaking southeast views through two-storey canted windows. The space can accommodate 100 guests for a sit-down function or 200 for a stand-up reception

Perhaps this is set up for a final celebration. It certainly seems a little more upbeat with Hotel group rates and an ocean view room with space for 100-200.

1-200 with either champagne glasses or with torches and pitchforks screaming for regime change ;o). Either way they appear to anticipate a large turnout

Looking forward to meeting many of you in person at the AGM in February.  It's exciting to see the share price moving in the right direction.  I hope this will be the last AGM/Vote LME holds but we won't know until an official announcement is made.  Either way it will be exciting to get an update on LME exploration and permitting progress.  Remember that regardless of ...more

Thanks for the update! I appreciate your optimism but I don't think there's too many investors in LME that care about future drilling and exploration plans. Cynthia and the board have little time to deliver on their mission. Let me remind everyone that Burmi sold a large amount of shares and now John Covello has been working on buying LME with foreign money, he is faced with becoming a ...more

As a point of clarification, I would NOT classify Burmi's sales last year as a large amount of shares. Let's take a look at his investment timeline to better understand what I mean. July 11, 2019: Burmi became an insider when both him and John were appointed to the Board.  This happened because the 2 of them were major investors in a round of financing that happened just prior to ...more

Doug had already said in October, that the assumption of just "going to market" is wrong.

Are you suggesting that Doug is misleading us? He said in the middle of October "The assumption that they are just "going to market" is incorrect." He's in an investor relations role and unless you know otherwise we only have what Doug tells us.
