You almost have to look at this as LITES 1st real Quarter in business and it was a blowout they went from 3 employees  to close to 250 so that's what i am saying here. Kicked butt and its just the start , sure there will be growing pains along the way but we are a real business now with a real CEO and CFO  along with a great team of employees and sales team. Great work and stay ...more

Yes, they did well.  Rev numbers look good on a percent basis q on q and yr on track but 18% gross margin isn't going to cut it though.   I know Covid was a problem.  Need them to get announcement for next contract, and hopefully post break even/small profit for next quarter.   here's hoping Carlo gets the timetable on receivables in line, and ramp up of new city ...more

18% margin is not sustainable granted but they delivered that amidst a torrent pace in the middle of a global pandemic. ... and we all know that haste makes waste.  I expect this to improve greatly going forward but maybe not, they might need to double again to 400 strong in order to deliver on all of the new biz coming their way! ? :-)

All true but we need to keep in mind that the 18% margin was not only due to some delays due to Covid but also 2 or possibly even 3 cities last quarter were still in the ramping stages.  The next two quarters will reflect much much higher margins as they will be in the mature stages of operation.  I'm thinking more like low to mid 30% margins which should yield a small profit ...more

How do you reach that 30% margin? Is there a comparable or has the company given any guidance?
Comment by Backwardblade on Sep 02, 2020 10:06am
Take this for what you will, a lot is from memory, but it's close: LTE did it's first big contract3-4 years ago in Haida G'wai. 12 million and about 23% ? Gross margin.  They put up 1-2c per share net.  Lean, light and fast.   No contracts after that for years.   Enter Carlo and the UK.  For one quarter with Gigaclear, and given free reign to run the ...more

Ditch this company - years ago I was saying that the would be lucky to get 30% margin because this is a construction company, and the best you could ask for is 30%  for this type of company. And I also said that you have to get to $100M revenue for the company to be scaleable, and even then it is a just profitable company. And many scoffed at me for making such a prediction. The company is ...more

The macro situation in where lte is, is kind of solid. Lte is in the field of building the physical infrastructure of the expansion of internet. And right now, specially in the uk, it means modernisation of their network and giving employment in a country where recession is hitting hard. I do believe in that.  Carlos seems to be a very good entrepreneur and it seems to me his team is winning. ...more
