The Company controls over 439 square kilometers (km2) of exploration land, including the Green Bay, Whisker Valley, Gull Ridge, and Point Rousse projects. The mineral processing assets owned by the Company in the Baie Verte mining district include the Pine Cove mill and the Nugget Pond gold circuit.

Maritime is unique among almost all of these juniors, as it is an emerging producer of high grade open pit gold, with two mills, no debt and 73% owned by funds and mining companies.

Consolidation is inevitable as the Seniors are having trouble growing their production when the average grade is 1.4 gms .
