Stockpile Gold Processing

Stockpile Gold ProcessingIt would appear that the SCP report of March 12 was not correct, as the first gold pour was in early April instead of about the 20th of March.

There two kinds of ore making up the stockpile ....compacted stockpile material of unprocessed crushed ore and screened fines material from the tailings pond

Screen fines obviously is higher grade which would not need to be ground and  probably could go directly to floatation .

The crushed ore from old waste stockpiles would require grinding and would be lower grade than fines.

As the ageing grinder circuit would require immidiate testing in mill commissioning, that lower grade ore would have been processed first....and take longer time to reach Gold Dore stage...a little more than a month.

Elementary calculations based on volumes processed and ounces produced ...387..
show that the head grade of the first gold pour in early April was about 0.6 grams per ton.
We know that the average head grade is 1.1 grams but not the proportion of the two head feeder types .

Perhaps, after a month of testing and optimizing, the mill returned to composite grade milling in early May by which time the mill was full again.

Q1 should provide some clarity of this issue.

F all volume today as US markets are closed..
