Max Resource Corp. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company exploring the sediment-hosted copper district in Colombia and direct shipping ore (DSO) iron ore within the Iron Quadrangle in Brazil, hosting some of the DSO mines in the world. Its Sierra Azul is a district-scale copper-silver project spanning 120- kilometers (km) along the 200-km-long Cesar Basin in the mining region of northeastern Colombia. This region provides access to infrastructure resulting from oil and gas and mining operations. Its mining concessions cover an area of more than 180 square kilometers (km2). Its exploration is focused on three districts at Sierra-Azul: AM District, Conejo District and URU District. The Floralia Hematite DSO Iron Ore Project is situated within a prolific iron ore mining region in Minas Gerais, Brazil’s iron ore-producing state, 67 kilometers east of the capital city of Belo Horizonte and 11 kilometers northeast of the mining town of St Barbara.

Spin off

They say that they will spin out iron ore business, so as a shareholder of Max resources we will receive a proportion of a share in Max Iron ore for every Max Res. share we hold, we will then hold shares in 2 companies. Max Res will trade on TSXV,,Max Iron ore business will trade on ASX,, this according to press release,, this could change as they are still carving the deal into stone and final details, we will learn in 2025.
