NEW COPPER THEORY

When speaking specifically about malachite, azurite
copper that is suspended in sands.

Red beds atop
Sands layer
Copper deposits suspended  on own ( no direct source )
coal below

What might have formered these suspended copper beds ?
Coral reefs.

Organisms digesting the ocean mineral waters.
Absorbing the high copper in solution.
Organisms also digesting, iron, magnesium
and most importantly - calcium.

Stromatolite Reefs,
could explain some of the copper deposits.

HINT:
Upper coastal regions are strewn with, stromatolires.
If..... Max's team is smart...
they'll know what stromatolires also contain.

Stromatolire reef,  thick, mature....
Platonic shifting
Sands cover reef...
Decomposition,  caralyst reqctions, salt water, preasure
Sands along with corrosive salts, silicic acids, reactions
Rock forms, copper sweats out - prefipatating green + blue copper.

As for the odd piece of native copper ?
Perhaps washed down from mountain and stomatolites
along with sea water had not had a chance to break it down.

A theory.
Perhaps a good theory which explains the copper deposits
specifically deposits suspended in, sands.
( No epithermal or hard rock below )
