You can thank Alexco for the low share price that HL managed to acquire Keno Hill with. HL financed AXU with $30M USD in equity so Alexco wouldn't go belly up and then forked out $135 m USD's ...more

I don't like the way Hecla went about acquiring Alexco Resources. They picked it up for peanuts and shareholders got the shaft. I certainlly hope they're not planning to use the same strategy ...more

Reading between the lines from what Scott has been saying it seems MMG would like to negotiate  segments of Keno to Hecla in the West and a successful explorer like Discovery Silver in the East ...more
