What next?

Last I heard is that insiders couldn't trade because a deal was on the table.  The last large insider trade contradicts that. JM has also been disseminating info that the sale of the company is a "done deal."  I've also been informed that long time colleagues of his are done with the BS and describe him as a relentless promoter who are now shaking their heads in shame. Word is the next the next move ll be an announcement that they will develop the resource with promise of big returns.

Fact sheet and presentation are not available on site, being updated. Maybe some new information coming? It is a pity the owners of this company like myself, do not have a single handle on what is going on here. I hold, as my NPV10 model on 20mmbo, 48% interest supports 49c at 429m shares out. This is based on the NI43 compliant cashflow information from RPS Energy. My experience also tells me ...more

Hi, 429 million shares the current share count 179m all out at the time i did NPV +250m new shares for funding $50m capex at 20c a share. $55m remaining capex coming as debt. I cannot see them debt finance 100%. Also financing higher than 20c makes the picture better, but looking where we are now, i think $1 financing is a long way away/.

There is no deal on the table until money is put in trust with the lawyers. Anyone can say they are going to buy , there is no deal until money is given as a down payment. People relly ought to know what they are talking about when they post! cheers   PB

Hi TeTsuo, I am glad you are with us MRP longs and posting as I respect your knowledge and previous posts.  I have read your post and interpreted that jump to 400+ share count from the current is assuming an equity issue for financing by MRP.  It is an assumption on your part.  Financial requirements for TSB are shared between MRP and Equinox as co-owners of TSB at approx 50% each ...more

Thanks for your calculation example TeTsuo. I, however, think that you make a double counting when you deduct 105 MCAD as year zero investment. 50 MCAD in cash is already counted for by the 250M new shares and hence the remaining investment is only 55 MCAD as debt. This makes the value per share a bit higher....

Hi, no it is correct. A NPV value $ is calculated from all cash inflows/outflows discounted for the future value of money. The $105m is a cash outflow, inflows coming from oil sales. The number of shares only comes into the equation, when dividing NPV by shares out and the no should include an estimate of increased float from financing. The 250m shares at 20c is though open to ...more

Hi TeTsuo, I agree that a discounted cash-flow analysis is based on all cash inflows/outflows. But that also means that the (possibly) $50m for 250m new shares should be counted as a cash inflow. Hence, the total pre-investment  value of the company (i.e. today) equals the net present value of their future investments as you calculated ($105m invested year zero) + $50m in a Mira bank account  ...more
