RE:What went wrong?

RE:What went wrong? It kinda boils down to the strike length of the zones they are intersecting.  The strike lengths of the veins are only a few hundred meters in horizonal length before the veins pinch out.  There is a verticle component to the zones yes, but that makes it expensive to drill deep to chase systems at depth.

In three dimentions, the ore zones are not big...the lack of strike lenght kills the deposits economic viabiliy to some respect...ideally one has a deposit that has 1km or more of strike lenght and a depth component to max out the tonnage...NFG just has one aspect (depth only)...so small ounce count for a PILE of drilling.

Very high grades locally yes...but under 2 million ounces is a bit disappointing...sad for the investors for sure...I am not one of them...but have been watching the story for a few years...I expected more ounces as many did...but the 3D geometry of this limits the ounces.
