1.1 million ounces QWN more Valuable than 2.7 m Oz V Lake
1.1 million ounces QWN more Valuable than 2.7 m Oz V LakeAt a 0.7 gram cutoff, VL FS showed 2.7 m ounces averaging 1.6 grams per ton.
At QWN , at 1 gram cutoff , MRE shows 1.1 million ounces of open pit ounces at 4.3 grams .
Mining costs per ton are independent of grade....it is what it is.
However, cash flows per ton mined is directly proportional to grade.
Lets say, $100 per gram .
Per ton, VL will generate $160 per ton while QWN will generate $430 per ton mined.
It gets even better.
VL has no free gold , so processing to concentrate is expensive...crushing, grinding, floatation, Re grinding and finally leaching to form concentrate.
Keats is about 80% free gold so you have crushing, grinding and gravity separation directly into a gold
concentrate .....no milling needed.
So, combined, the higher grade and cheap processing of 1.1 m ozs of QWN ore can produce the same cash flows as 2.7 million ounces of V Lake.
Calibre could be a buyer for this very reason ..
