POG in C$ remains near all time highs

With recent interest rate cuts, the loonie has mostly compensated for the USD incresse.

Canada cut its interest rateswhich boosted the POG in C$.

Currently $3278 per ounce  which is very close to its all time high..

nozzpack...what does this have to do with NFG? The stock doesnt trade with the price of gold...since they have no production. Dont you find it odd that NFG has sunk back into the mid 3's and gold is near all time highs.
Comment by nozzpack on Jul 25, 2024 1:00pm
Absolutely not. If NFG published a Gold resource of 25 million ounces tommorow above 300 meters on just a modest portion of QWN, you would be daft to think that it would not instantly elevate the share price by several  multiples . Or, are you daft ? BTW, my estimates are not exactly without review.

I forgot I had a stockhouse account from years back. This is geo3987 from the ceo board.  No sh*t Sherlock. But the realistic number is 2.5 million not 25.  Please explain to everyone how you came to the ounces you calculated in just the Keats Trench.

Welcome explogeo.  I look forward to your analysis and calculations.   A couple of us have been taking a lot of abuse for suggesting that the resource estimates are out to lunch, no MRE, no true widths, no proper spacing between holes so the cost of an MRE is greatly increased to do it correctly, etc. Well, have at it, and best of luck! Assuming a volume of 70x200x10 metres = 140,000 m3 140,000 m3  x  2.7 tonne/m3 = 378,000 tonnes. Assuming an average grade of 3 g/t = ~1,100,000 g or 35,000 ozs gold/10 m depth.  (3 g/t is an unsubstantiated assumption for no one knows as of this moment.  We await the results from the channel sampling).
Comment by explogeo on Jul 25, 2024 3:56pm
You're taking the exposed trench and assuming the entire zone will run 3 g/t? That may be the craziest estimation I've ever heard. Most of those veins are Notice how in the Nov.17 2023 PR they don't have anything for scale in  heir photos? That should be an instant red flag. Same goes for having no cross sections in any of their PRs. If this system is the holy grail of all gold ...more

explogeo are you @geo3987 from ceo.ca, if so you have gone with my suggestion in challenging  nozzpackon calculations.
Comment by Evenkeel123 on Jul 25, 2024 5:03pm
Yes alwil, he is, and I also invited him here.  As you can see, Nozzpack is full of vitriol, trying to bully the newcomer and scaring him off, but it won't work, I am sure.   He invited the challenge, and now we will learn what kind of a character he really is. EK
Comment by Retiredgeo on Jul 25, 2024 5:08pm
There is a lot of gold between the veins.  The channel sampling results will have the final say. No assay info was attached to the Nov 17 PR so not scale bars were needed.   If you don't like pictures of pretty gold grains to each their own. Over the years they have published lots of cross sections.  Feel free to look. You are yet another investor confusing the Queensway ...more

Thank you Retired for those clarifying comments. Re KT, I assume you were using a dry fly tied with a half hitch that is quite attractive to the prey as it zips and bounces across the stream . So enticing that I swallowed the entire hook...

I am disappointed with Retired, I thought he'd  make an effort.

I'm here to educate and be educated.  Anyone who doesn't enhance my stockhouse experience goes on ignore real fast.  The list is quite long.  Life is too short for the BS of trolls. Anyone who doesn't like this stock, company or property can sell and move along.  After NFG sells I will be following the buyer because I know a good thing when I see it.
Comment by nozzpack on Jul 25, 2024 4:29pm
Can't Read ? Why assume the KT dimensions are 200 x 70 x 10 ? It is clearly stated that the Dimensions are 200 m by 150 m by the average depth drilled at QWN which  300 meters . That EW vein goes deeper than 10 meters BTW..more like 300 meters . Why not assume imstead of 3 grams the average published grade of 11 grams  or even higher for Keats ? Stop wasting our time with your ...more

Welcome to the NFG board explogeo.  There are numerous trolls cruising this board including one with a Nordvpn and a zero feedback rating.  You will be targeted soon enough.  Flag and ignore.

So, this is your critique of my most recent post , which estimated 25 million ounces ? My post spells out quite clearly not only the documented source of the input parameters, the computations are easily replicated , and the end result easily understood . VLake is an excellent adjacent orogenic sibling of QWN, is also a gold district,  whose drilled depth has found gold down to 1000 meters ...more
