@IgnacioCashmere Majors want juniors to derisk before they buyout. The big hurdle in derisking is the environmental permitting. I have seen it done in as little as 3 years, but some projects take 15 to get all their permits. It is a dumb investment of capital to buy a project that will be waiting on permits for years. The majors JV to help projects along, when the outcome is certain then they jump in & buy. The junior foots the bill for drilling, PEA, & FS. With so many projects in development, there is no reason for majors to pay for development or to risk that a project wont get permits. Look at Hudson Bay HBM as an example for why. They sunk billions in to developing their Arizona project, then were denied permits, all those billions lost in an instant. No major wants that happening to them.

Yes, NFG is much better off by staying independent, and using Maritime Resources mill called the Pine Cove Mill to process ore from NQW mining operations of NFG. The ample cash flow from mining NQW deposits like Keats and Iceberg will provide the cash flow (PROFITS!)
