SGD has long continously mineralized intercepts but very low grade, averaging about 1 gram per ton.
Their best 10 or intercepts have an average gram meters of close to 350
.
Thats pretty good and accounts for their current MRE of just over 7 million ounces .
Of course, at I gram per ton , you must mine and mill over 10,000 tons per day which means very high capex .
I don't own SGD.
Now , see below a selection of the best QWN Intercepts for the years 2020 to 2023 spread among its various prospects .
What stands out is that QWN gram meters averages about 3000 whuch is nearly 9 times greater than that of SGD.
I like the economics of mining QWN, because , those high grades and compacted veins means about 10 times less tonnage to mine and a grade about 10 times higher than SGD.
Grade and mining costs are inversely correlated .
Grade and Milling volumes are inversely correlated .
Much smaller mining footprint means less permitting and quicker discovery to mining time.
So much for preferring SGD as an investment versus QWN.
And we have those guessing fools who will say that with nearly 10 times the richest ore as SGD in about the same sq area, QWN does not contain more than 10 million ounces.
Logic and analytics go together .
Our detractors have neither.
