Road Plans

A day doesn't pass where talk is about climate change and meeting various emission targets. But  road plans are lacking. Does offshore wind have a place in BC. What are the aspirations of BC Hydro for the future. For this project and with the best intentions of all participants, can an EPA  be secured?  Each province/community will have to decide what mix of renewables will best serve the interests of its citizens. The above are only two for which answers will be required. An all encompassing review will take time with some serious thought. I would not want this project to be built on a whim.

The Federal Gov't announced new goals on Earth Day-much more severe than the initial target of a 30% reduction in GHG's from 2005 levels. Some provincal gov'ts were caught off guard, because they don't know what to do or should do, to contribute to GHG reduction. The Federal Gov't will probably support windfarm development as well as other green intiatives, but each province ...more
