Eric Desaulniers and Arne Frandsen's Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc. (NOU) lost three cents to $6.18 on 37,000 shares. The company is plodding along at its Matawinie "turnkey natural graphite operation" in Quebec, which includes the Matawinie deposit north of Montreal and a proposed plant in Becancour. It all sounds promising, but before Mr. Frandsen, chairman, or Mr. Desaulniers, president and CEO, get to turn that key, they need to build the $1.4-billion project around the lock -- and at this point the company has less than $60-million in working capital.
