RE:RE:RE:Jed you are a dopeHi DRILLFILLBILL:
I have no intention of sellling OLV.V. And while it is somewhat disheartening not to see results, this is all part of the game. I did not invest in Olivut thinking it was Clorox or Johnson & Johnson.
Originally back in 2007, Olivut was a pure diamond play. Today, it has evolved into something totally different. The world's need for minerals and its very survival is dependent upon the mining of Rare Earth Elements (REEs) for clean energy, water purification, medical, military and dozens of other uses. When Biden took office, one of the first things he did (literally the day after inauguration) was check the U.S. supply of REEs. The reason is that nations like China could totally hold the USA hostage by threatening to cut off REE supplies. We need REEs and we need REE independence!
Result? Mining rights in the HOAM take on a totally different meaning. The rights Olivut has to mining the HOAM, in itself, becomes a very valuable asset. Canada is known for producing vast amounts of oil sands, potash, lithium and the potential for REE production is enormous. Diamonds would be nice. But REEs are our oyster. Do you know how many companies wish they had the same rights to such a vast swath of land that Olivut does?
Olivut Resources may go down as a total flop. But I do not invest in speculative mining stocks to get a modest dividend every month from Church & Dwight or Tootsie Roll. Ten years ago, I invested in 8 REE stocks. The only one still standing is UCORE. I lost a little money but the potential to build real wealth is enormous. That's the name of the game!
