Unconformity in The Santonian
Ok looking at the Seismic image at
https://cgxenergy.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/CGX-Energy-Inc_Corporate-Presentation-04-November-2020.pdf
slides 16, 17, and 18.
What we see is the yellow streak at about 4800 meters running from a downdip point of about 5300 meters this is within the Santonian.
Above the yellow streak is a Green trace about 100 -120 meters which is labelled the Santonian Unconformity with is most likely erosional with a layer of material that would be considered as providing the seal for whatever is the contents of the bright spot,so the Santonian Unconformity creates the condition for the accumalation within the same santonian zone there as shown by the bright spot and it is repeated at the lower level creating the third zone of interest where the blue line below the word "Kawa" is the Turonian unconformity and the Red and Yellow zone is another target then a blue zone again followed by more red and yellow all leading updip in what can be seen as a classic stratigraphic trap pinching out ..IMO the labelling is not the best ...maybe it wasn"t meant to be ...Im reading the green line and the blue lines as unconformities that create sealing in the Santonian and lower deposits with the bright spots being pay.
just my two cents or dollar and 25 cents

Very informative guys! Especially for non SME's like me, it is to a certain extent promising content. The Suriname trending bodes well for Kawa. Hopefully more news soon!

Problem is that the time for modelling is over. What does reality show? Got these red line, bright spot etc experts that assign probabilities to a commercial find. This stock will only move on a find at this point in my opinion.

That's where we at now .. cracking through the last of that unconformity ..have about a week to go on drilling then some testing etc etc..looking good with about less than 100 meters to drill ..
