News came out...we did hit the low 0.40's ....(0.42 actually) , did the market like the new acquisition?? time will tell, since this just became a very long term play... Curious to see how they will come up with the $175M to finance the new plant ...(if i read correctly)    We will revisit 0.335-0.34 area before going up to mid 0.40's again with the financials (if good of ...more

About funding,   The imminent publication of the 43-101 technical report is the tool that will make it possible to obtain this financing. Considering the important mineral resources of Kiniero, the material assets present on Nampala and Kiniero, the absence of debt and the use of the working capital of Nampala, the financing of this project is not an issue (IMHO).

Why Semafo would have sell Kiniero if it is such great deal?
Comment by Tree2tree on Apr 22, 2022 9:17am
SEMAFO didn't sell it, they essentially gave it away because it was more of a liability than an asset. And why did Sycamore fail to carry out a feasibility study, as they were required to do in their agreement with the Guinea government?  (see below) And what if the government decides at any time to cancel Sycamore's licence to the property because of its failure to meet the ...more

Hello Yehoolamoney2, If you don't mind, in the future I will call you Y2. Also, I must specify that Kiniero is a project that is made up of 4 permits.   Semafo therefore sold this project in 2014 when the POG varied between $1,200 and $1,400 US. At that time, the entire gold sector was facing profitability issues and Semafo agreed to divest itself of the Kiniero project in Guinea, as ...more

Alright, so low grade is good according to the phool. RBX almost went bankrupt with its low grade ore, then was rescued by pure luck in the form of a higher gold price.  So they had a couple of years of profit, and even paid a dividend that they couldn't really afford to pay.  Now even with the high gold price, the high cost of stripping and a deeper pit, not to mention energy ...more

What's funny about you Tree2tree is that once I've corrected your lies with facts, you strive to invent new ones.   Just click on your nickname to see that your efforts are mainly focused on what you do not have. It's worth watching... In truth, you've been scattered in several companies that you don't know and none of them are progressing enough to compensate for your ...more

The definition of scum.  Using the tragic death of 8 mine workers in Burkina Faso as an opportunity to try and discredit another poster.  Despicable scum.

we're you not the person telling everyone to be on the look out to buy cheap shares because of the potential sell off because of the incident?  To me, you are the one trying to or suggesting to capitalize off of it. just my two cents.  Just my two cents.

Thank you for the info. Your input is well appreciated.        i understand that the bigger we get the better chances we have to interest a major player and be rewarded for our patience.

I also believe that we will reach the point that as a gold producer of sufficient volume, that shares will be trading in dollars, not cents.

@Y2: Yes, as is often the case. Still, the Cohen team didn't build something so perfect to resell right away, IMHO. They are not speculators. Consequently, I believe that we must first focus on significant revenue growth for the next two years and on internal and external growth for the following years, depending on the opportunities that arise.
