Over the year, it is 1,314,261 tonnes less moved to the waste disposal site. With a stripping ratio of 4:1, it is 67.66% lower than that of Cerrado, which treats ore 5 times richer and obtains a gold production equivalent to that of Robex. That this stripping ratio is 3.5:1 - 4:1 or 4.5:1, it is a great result. If it is so low, it is because operational efficiency makes it possible to process very low gold grade ores, which reduces the tonnage to be moved unnecessarily.
Regarding the December security incident, the management team intervened promptly to support the teams in place; collaborate with the authorities; and ensure the restart of operations. This necessarily contributed to maintaining the quality of the results in Q4. For all these reasons, we can be proud of the way they acted.
Regarding the tonnage processed, it continued to progress despite 2 unplanned plant stoppages. In addition, a new record of 8,000 tons processed was set. For a plant originally designed to process ~5,000/day, this is great because this performance is the result of minimal investments and process optimization.
Regarding revenues, an estimate based on the sale of all gold ounces produced in Q4 multiplied by an average POG of CAD $2,351, gives an annual revenue increase of ~CAD $12,000,000, for a total of CAD $115,895,000 . In addition, the average POG since January 1 is CAD $2,534, the highest value for two years.
In conclusion, Nampala continues to financially support the Kiniero project, to ensure the success of its implementation.
