doug allen's retirement

i did a quick web search, and couldn't find doug's age, but his pic looks like a man on the senior side of middle age.
IF... i were that age, and in posession of the kind of money he apparently has,  retirement would definitely be on the menu.  i would spend my time doing what pleased me, not some corporate structure.  i don't know what kind of interests doug has - fly fishing?  travel?  chasing women? collecting ming dynasty pottery?  ...whatever.  i certainly wouldn't be wasting my time chasing more millions when i already had several mil.  i would wind up my committments and head for thge horizon.

I am 69 but I would still be working if not for illness. It was no longer about money but the great relationships I had with both clients and suppliers. I never was much for winter vacations. Canadian winters have also been warmer and not as long. Any way, I have friends that just wanted to get away whether that meant winter months in Arizona or Florida or, until this past year, taking an RV into ...more
