Statistically Significant Shorts
So this is really fascinating because last night I was talking with a few different people who are RECON Stock Holders. Apparently there are multiple people who have been submitting relatively large and small blocks of of buys in Recon that were attempted but not filled. This has been occurring regularly.
Anyway, these individuals have compiled a list of screen shots, print outs with time stamps during regular intervals showing their orders not being filled although the Volume seems to have been adequate enough. I think their fill rate was like 13.7 % during certain periods. The Orders are Limit and they have to be.
Here is the part that I found to be really cool. They are doing the same thing with stocks of similar size and volatility. I think about 4-5 different companies. They are getting filled at the rate of something like 87%
I have not seen the data myself nor do I expect to. But we are talking about literally thousands of data points from many different Brokerage Accounts. I'm not a but one of them is or close enough and he put the Probability of this kind of event happening at about .0001. I don't know this stuff.
I guess one of the people works for a drug company and another guy worked for the some branch of government doing research. I tried to look up like P Values and Probability and I'm too dumb to really understand this stuff.
However, I did grasp that the this data is time stamped, dated that there are records of these attempts in the brokerage histories that are being sent to the SEC and whatever other regulators. Apparently the odds of these Mathmatical events are so remote to happen naturally that researchers would determine that it is considered impossible due to chance alone. I guess the manipulation is "Statistically Significant" so I guess its like a middle school experiment.
At the Very Minimum the Regulators would now have a statistical comparison to ask MM's about.
I think the fascinating thing is going to be the sheer amount of data points. I mean I think I see patterns all the time I guess all humans do. If I really saw them I wouldn't be posting on this board.
They also said something about a monte carlo simulation. I'm guessing that has to do with gambling. I don't know...
All I can say is that for the first Time in my life I took to twitter last night. I saw Viceroy's Grand Poobah Himself (Who calls them self the Grand Poobah lol) I realized Twitter isi just a giant AOL/Prodigy chat room... I can't believe I didn't know this!!!
All they had to say to increase stock price IMO is
(The AOL/Prodigy Chatroom for the 21st Century) It was interesting to see some Geologists and Oil people turning the short report into Swiss Cheese in a public forum. RECAF seems to have a very passsionate stock holder base.
