Bill Cathey - details per Zoom information

I found this information on zoom.   It says that Bill Cathey was an employee of ReconAfrica in London (2016 to 2019, if I am reading things correctly).

If this is the case, it means that we do not have independent third party information on the existence of a 30,000 basin, since this claim was made by Bill Cathey - an employee.

And we know that Jarvie is an employee, who followed up with oil estimates based on basin size.

We have therefore two insiders making this claim on the basin.

So where is independent thrid party verification to ensure that there indeed a confirmed 30,000 foot basin.   This is important.

The present drill results were not able to get past +/- 9,000 feet in both holes (reason given was due to faults).   A shallow basin calls into question whether oil is cooked and, the amount of recoverable oil possible.

wrong again, in 2015 when steinke licensed pel 73 and found out that the government had an aero magnetic survey, steinke the founder of reconnaissance energy africa purchased the aero magnetic survey and sent it to bill cathey in Houston to analyze it, after 6 weeks of analysis he made the statement that this is a 30,000ft basin. He was not part of reconafrica team.

and just as jarvie and steinsberger were paid consultants for steinke and renaissance oil and after looking at all the data on reconafrica hav become investors in reconnaissance energy africa.

Agreed that in 2015 Bill Cathey was not with Reco when he made the call for a 30,000 foot basin. Then as you say he was so excited that he joined Reco as an employee in 2016, London office and, stayed there until 2019 per zoom information.  Then just prior to very important drilling he quits or leaves RECO and is not there in 2020 and 2021 as an employee.  And you see this leaving as ...more

Man, the sweet spot for oil formation is between 6,600 and 9,500 feet onshore. Can you remind me what those drill depths were that disappointed you? Oil then generally migrates to between around 3500-5500 ft give or take Wet gas usually forms at depths significantly deeper. Total basin depth had nothing directly to do with Jarvies calculation. I dont understand why you can't answer your own ...more

With oil in your name I would have figured you would have the knowledge to figure this one out. Owambo basin= immature oil. Shallow depth, not enough heat and time to cook the hydrocarbons. Kavango basin= Some discovered light oil and gas. It's been cooked because of the depth and time, so the hydrocarbons essentially have been reduced into their lighter hydrocarbon chains. The Kavango basin ...more

And where is the proof that this is a 30,000 feet basin?   I mean outside verification? Let me guess, you will quote Bill Cathey, an employee of Reco?  Or director? or whatever? No independent verification outside of the company to confirm this assumption of a 30,000 basin.    We are to simply accept it without a third party verification.  All we know is that it is ...more

You are literally retarded... Also as it so happens there are at least two independent analysis from Geologists with no affiliation to Recon suggesting that this portion of the basin is at least 20,000 feet deep. I read two reports last night that suggested one report did not use anything regarding "The Newly discovered Kavango Basin" and one that did. The Reports were from 2014 and 2018 ...more

let's see Jarvie commented on the mug logs, which is hard to do if ur silent. If you want to see where cathey is go to reconafrica.com and click on technical team, he's sitting there right below Jarvie. As they say "Life is hard, and in ur case it's Harder when ur stupid and deranged."

So first of all thats very interesting about Bill. Question. Why are you working harder to find less accurate information than has already been discussed? I don't understand that part. We already have published results showing the Oil quality is excellent and simultaneously dispelling any concerns regarding the depth, pressure, thermal regarding the basin. There is still much to learn about ...more
