Why shorties got creamed today. The best explanation yet!

Someone on this site posted about new rules against short selling. Well it was on the SEC agenda for a meeting today even though I can't find any confirmation if they actually went ahead. But it certainly would explain the heavily shorted stocks surging today for no apparent reasons across the board.

Oops! That article I previously posted is old. But they apparently have been kicking around doing something about short selling for years.
