Ranchero Gold (TSXV: RNCH) is continuing to trade at yearly highs, up 65% from 2021 year-end prices.
Near the end of February, the company extended the gold mineralization zone at its Maiz Azul prospect by 170 meters after all 16 completed drill holes of its phase 1 drill program intersected gold mineralization. Ranchero’s phase II program planned for later this year will focus on both expanding the newly discovered mineralization as well as testing additional targets.
Most notably, drill results returned 4 g/t Au over 31.5 meters, showing highly consistent mineralization.
As the company takes a pause to update its geological mapping and three-dimensional models, we can expect updates on what the company plans to target in the next phase of drilling.
