re re rtm drilling
Thanks for your imput Diabase . I understand RTM is going to drill this prospect asap. while they have the rig in the area . They really like this anomaly -too intrigueing to leave till later! Too many great leads ,assay results and visuals in the area - hopefully no surface problems . All the geophysics are leading to something - massive magnetic destructure adjacent to a massive mag high with a long north -south 400+m vlf/em anomaly running through the feature PLUS the 3D IP deep seated anomaly within the structure - far too much to ignore. I like the feature that this anomaly is situated out to the east - isolated from the main NNW /SSE trending stratigraphy ( ultramafics/ gabbro or iron formation in tuffs) . This removes regional stratigraphy from the equation. I suspect some kind of deep seated intrusive creating massive alteration from hydrothermal solutions with disseminated mineralization ( mag destruction) The Catharine group near the northeastern periphery of the Round Lake batholith hosts several concentrations of copper /gold deposits ( Mindoka Copper, Amity Copper Mine , Patterson Copper Mine and the Ossian-Trethewey Mine) Mindoka lies just to the north of the Catharine claim block . All are high grade copper with gold along shear zones with minor gabbroic intrusives . We may have some combination of such at this anomaly - who knows
All I do know is lately , I have had great success following drilling into deep magnetic lows ( VSR, SUP AMX etc.) - especially when you combine VLF/EM and 3D-IP surveys!!!
I hope it is full of green carbonate . Going to investigate the drilling to the south of the claim block for more leads ie.the holes into mag lows. Hope to give updates sometime this week . Stay excited!
