Searchlight Resources Says Henning-Maloney Drilling Shows Some High-Grade Mineralization
03:55 PM EDT, 04/26/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Searchlight Resources (SCLT.V) on Monday said exploration drilling at its Henning-Maloney gold target in northern Saskatchewan showed some high-grade mineralization.
The company said best results from three holes totaling 601 meters and drilled near a historic mine on the property included 31.59 grams per tonne of gold over 1 meter and 8.4 gpt over 0.7 meters.
"We are pleased with our initial drilling at Henning-Maloney, both verifying the location of gold mineralization and tripling the known mineralization depth. Multiple gold zone intersections in each drill hole coupled with demonstrated gold mineralization further west than previously known, opens up future targets," chief executive Stephen Wallace said in a release.
Searchlight shares were last seen up C$0.01 to C$0.09 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
