Exactly.

Yes, sorting can increase the grade of a bulk sample.

However, the problem is the throughput rate.  On finely-diseminated tiny particles of gold, you have to slow the conveyer way down, and may only process a few tons/hour.  Try to speed it up, and you start sending too much of the gold to the reject pile.

All in my naive opinion, do your own due diligence.
