It has shareholdings in several active mineral exploration companies, including 31.9% of Broden Mining Ltd., 33.4% of GGL Resources Corp., 28% of Rockhaven Resources Ltd., 15.6% of Silver Range Resources Ltd and 15.6% of Precipitate Gold Corp. All these companies are engaged in exploration projects. It also has a shareholding in Terra CO2 Technologies Holdings Inc., which is developing an alternative to Portland cement.

SMD property to be drilled---this Fall

Benjamin Hill--BNN anounced it has finished construction of an exploration camp and is planning to drill Alotta this fall where it can earn a 60% interest from SMD. Archer Cathro is managing exploration. BNN Pres Lorne Warner P. Geo has NWT and Nunavut experience.

Why wait for spring? Alotta is my favorite SMD property and now it is getting the attention it deserves from a proactive company ready to do some serious exploration.
Another chapter to Yukon's colourful history may be being added.
