Eric Coffin - HRA Update
Buck Main continues to grow, but the grades, by and large, also continue to be modest. There are several areas in the trend that could form into starter areas with more drill density. But most recent holes don’t have the grade/thickness combination that gets love from traders, even if they ultimately prove to be economic thanks to more consistency and excellent site logistics. That’s just how it is I’m afraid.
Its clear what SMN needs, and its not lost on management; better grade. That could come on the next hole, but I would like to see the new targets that we are still waiting on more complete info on. I don’t think there is any guarantee new targets will be better, but they are all undrilled and largely blind. There is no reason to think one or more of them can’t be as good or better than Buck. And, as we all know, mystery often trumps history when it comes to getting trader's attention. Sun Summit clearly needs something to get its mojo back and a new discovery could be what does that. I’m expecting news on the new targets soon. Sun Summit is a hold or accumulate on weakness until we get more new target information and plans on how those targets will be tested.
