If the rumours of major new production project acquisitions are true then this stock could truely rocket as long as there are not huge capital read dilution requirements. When I look at the composition of the board I just know that something big is inevitable.  SNV hjas already out performed this year but it could be in for a truely religious ride upwards.

  Any new major project will require $200 - $300 million to fully develop just like Selat Panjang but this is where a Major can step in and operate as the Bank while collecting a hefty return on their investment or Sonoro will have no problem raising big money around $1.00 after reserve report announced except this time we control everything  Back to 36 cents we go well done Longs

If you look at what Sara Akkbar did in Iraq -  bet its the same model.  They negotiated  a operator contract, funded field operations on an exisiting field and secured a guaranteed net revenue per barrel -  this would have been a low capital cost.  Then they leveraged this cashflow into more profitable fields.

We really need to hear something regarding a MENA project. It's literally in their company profile statement. Hoping honestly for this month. Like I said previously that I doubt Sara hangs around with any foot dragging or we will get to it later mentality

Management have said very little about this.  I would suggest that any in the MENA region might take some time to finalise.  Right now we have no idea just how advanced this might be -  however given the talen on the board if there is any company that can progress major acquisitions in the region its SNV.  MENA is a very large area with very differetn jurisdictions and

and for a company like Proton Tech, do you think just maybe they would be interested  in Sara's extensive knowledge of the MENA oil fields to exploit? Just maybe this had something to do with them hooking up with Sonoro? Just maybe?

No.  Just look on their website there is no indication they have any interest outside of North America.  I believe that she joined the board after that WCSB deal was announced -  but I could be wrong on that. The intentions of Proton shoould be made clear in teh coming week when we hear more details of the revised deal.

Proton has already licensed with a UK company to exploit the North Sea oil fields and have stated on their website their interest in European fields.
