Jackie is situated within the west-central portion of the Sierra Madre Occidental Volcanic Complex of northern Mexico. The Melchett Lake property is located within the English River Sub-province of the Archean-age Superior Province as part of the east-to-west-trending Melchett metasedimentary-metavolcanic belt.
