Phase three of the pandemic and the reality that we will never see herd immunity because the simple fact is we will never vaccinate enough of the population. This just increases the demand for a rapid test at a reasonable price. 

Vaccinations alone will not solve let alone curb the spread of covid and new variants. Infection rates keep climbing even though vaccinations have been administered for how long now.  

The fact is even a vaccinated person may still contract the virus and spread it to unsuspecting people.  To really slow down the spread people who test positive need to isolate.  Problem with this many people spread the virus not knowing they are a carrier due to mild symptoms.

Sorry for the long message just trying to express the need for testing which will become a norm for the foreseeable future.  Anyone suggesting covid is over or we don't need testing IMO is simply full of sh!t.

Testing will always continue for 2-3 more years in 1st world nationsa nd 3-5 years for 2nd/3rd world nations. People are still getting H1N1 shorts (2009).

Was in my yard on the weekend and  a couple neighbours came by and of the 4 people 2 said they wouldn't get the vaccine. And they are smart working people. I don't get it...but that is why this will never be eradicated.
