Changes to CDC RT-PCR Test

Comment by nrv090909 on Jul 25, 2021 12:31am
This is great for therma. CDC is Canadian, Therma dealing with Brazil and USA. Furthermore, as we can check asymtomaic and covid infections. Plus we meet criteria.

Sorry could've unless been the hoist arm in the back of the head at lunch time. Or the 6 pack at dinner, but doesn't this remove Canada out of the equation altogether for sales then? Honest question and minor concussion.

Greetings, the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) is located in the USA, in Atlanta. The URL you provided was directed at PCR testes vs. Saliva (Antigen) tests. They want the new PCR test directive to accommodate any Sars or Influenza test and its derivatives (versions of it). Acuvid from Therma tests for positive and negative and can accomodate any known pathogen, thanks to Nanocomposix in ...more

Thanks for the reply. So, I guess this is a good thing for Acuvid then?

StockRocker, I would say this paragraph is good for THRM: In preparation for this change, CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test.  Thrm mentioned migrating their test to also one to detect the Flu.  Likely already working on it. Maybe they need ...more

Its kind of irrelivent really. Acuvid from Therma is an Antigen test (Saliva) ...fast < 15minutes.  PCR tests are from DNA (Nasal swab)....24-28 Hrs in a lab - more comprehensive but expensive and slow. In reality its more good for Acuvid then bad since our test is more simple but will work on any known derivative of SARS plus any known pathogen. PCR tests will continue to be slow and will ...more

As per CDC reported on ZH (up ur’s Forrest) they are going to do away with PCR which leaves the door wide open for Therma and Acuvid to heavenly fill the gap... yes there are others with tests but none as good or as easy as ours... Rob needs to get the manufacturing ramped up and we are Golden! JMO GLTA That Deserve It...

Martindale I was not implied anything about you, but about the manipulation on the Zero site. This was just one of many assays developed by companies in countries across the globe. If you look at the history of its use you will find it was introduced under FDA EUA on February 4, 2020 ....and included the following: Testing with the CDC 2019-nCoV Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel is intended for use by trained laboratory personnel who are proficient in performing real-time RT-PCR assays ...more
