I've got to say how impressed I am with the participation of Dr. Mandel, Roger and Kristina in the private placement. Dr. Mandel ponied up $25,000 and the Dumoulin-White/Hachey family invested $575,000. This trial is Theralase's double or nothing shake of the dice. If FDA approval of TLD1433 for the treatment of NMIBC is not forthcoming, IMHO, Theralase will no longer be a going concern.  All of that money from their own pockets will be gone. These people, like many of the posters on this board, are getting a bit long in the tooth to be hazarding that much money on a gamble that, if it fails, will deprive them of a future source of income. With so much riding on trial results they have chosen not to hedge their bets,

Well said Eoganacht, keep your eyes on the prize. Roger and Kristina have always done that and now like you say to put another $575,000 down this late in the game shows me the prize is near. When your investing like the insiders than the risk is less for you then buying when there is no insider interest in their own stock.  We are very close now to the first couple goals related to FDA

CancerSlayer, i have been watching those insider buys which come at every legal point they can grab them, and Roger and Kristina are using substantial amounts of their own money for these buys, and now Mandel gets in the act. No sane individual would invest that kind of money into a company that wasnt going to be a significant player in near future. The only surprise for me has been why do i own

Valid question Legit as to why you own more shares than Dr. Mandel. The only thing I can come up with is on the other hand why does Roger, with over 8 mil shares, keep buying? My conclusion is that everyone has their own comfort level when it comes to investing regardless of their certainty of success.  Maybe Dr. Mandel is a buy and hold for the final payday type.
