GoneFishing ... please provide a link of the article. A simple cut and paste will all guide us on your source we cannot find. "cure" is indeed a word that cannot be used lightly. So I'm a bit skeptic unless I see your link.

The FDA doesn't endorse the use of the word "cure" when associated with any cancer treatment. For the past two decades at least, all talk in pharma and oncology has revolved around the period of survivability ... except perhaps when a politician seeks to curry favor among the general populace.

It's not a competition. Obviously we need multiple ways of treating CA....there will never be "cure" given the etiology of the disease. It's interesting to see other methods of using light in medicine.

The more options the better IMO. PDT and other light based therapies will all have a role to play. This is just the start of deveoping photosensitizers that can target CA, bacteria etc.

I think it is probably too strong to call this ACT from TLT a 'cure'. Yet, with the current advances in cancer screening/testing and the promise of TLT's ACt to eliminate the need for chemo some day, perhaps make surgeries more rare when teamed with the early testing.... That would all add up to a 'cure' IMO... :-)

Still waiting for a confirmation from GoneFishing on whether or not it was initially a TLT related article.

Is WebMD still relevant? Remember Bork? Still long on the stock but negative feedback from any source seems to negative to more positive results. Shorts in action.?
