how does a company beat expections then spend more of the day down and just break even by the end of the day

Its simple the price was kept down and further tries to depress price did not work but no worries as the news gets out as today more new buyer will eat up loose shares that the short provide .

The short is on borrowed leveraged shares and borrowed time so they will run out and so will the Good Deal on buying the loose shares that the short is providing I grabbed some today LOL...

Who says TNG beat expectations? There were people on this bull board that thought TNG would actually report ad revenues from the Philips TV launch. But the conference call revealed that TNG's strategy is to give free access to games without ads for a period of time to allow a build up of repeat users. Ads just started running on Philips TVs in mid November. That is only 2 weeks in the quarter.
