Thx Dom. Does anyone know when the Swift Shader licencing agreement expires with Google? As usual, TNG is very vague with the details. I may have missed it on the conference call.

Re. Google's swiftshader license - it expires never. They paid the one time fee last year for a perpetual license.

Thx! In some ways this is a bit concerning. Fifteen months have gone by since the deal and almost six months since Fredrik Liljegren was hired to give Swift Shader some much needed exposure. The Google deal was sold cheap in my estimation, but perhaps they were looking for some much needed exposure. Enough time has elapsed for big players to see how effective Swift Shader really is, but still ...more
