Goldstorm Metals Corp (TSXV:GSTM) shares jumped 193% to $0.88 on Monday after the precious and base metals exploration company revealed that billionaire mining financier Eric Sprott owns, via a spin off, 8,776,922 Goldstorm common shares though his private holding company, which represents about 13.7% of the outstanding Goldstorm shares on a non-diluted basis.

Goldstorm Metals was recently spun out of Tudor Gold Corp (TSXV:TUD).

Eric got his shares just like us, from the spinout.  He did NOT participate in the private plaement though.  Hopefully  he will in future ones. Still think we are back down below 40 by next week. In any event, my foucs is on TUD.  It is a value play.  GSTM clearly is not.

It is interesting to see the huge position Eric Sprott holding with Tudor. There will be a rewarding time, so just need to wait for that. I am anticipating a drop in TUD share price after the spin off settles down. May be another chance to accumulate it, while cashing out Gold Storm!
