I used to respect Rudi....

....and I used to harbour no ill will towards SEA but what happened today was pretty low rate....

It was very duplicitous of him to make the statement that he did....I mean I get that he doesn't want to admit openly what the truth is but in this situation, both parties were clearly given the same information by the Ministry and he chose to word it in a way that made it look like a victory instead of providing clarification. TUD provided the clarification and it is not a good look for SEA and Rudi.

It says the terms of the LOO are EXPRESSLY subject to the prior mineral rights of TUD. You do know what that word means right CSK??? It means it is unambiguous.....meaning there is only a SINGLE way to interpret the meaning. Crystal clear! Tudor's claim is the primary claim....Seabridge must respect it or come to an agreement with them.

So the Province plays sensible overseer for sensible plans for economic development of two terrific properties. I completely understand the more recent TC discoveries threw a wrench in SEA's hope they had a clear pathway through TC. Now the options aren't exactly complicated in theory.  One option, sit down with TUD and figure out a joint access tunnelling model for both properties. ...more

I agree 100%....Developing both would be the obvious path..... Ken does not appear to be in a negotiating mood right now though lol!!!! I wonder what was going on behind the scenes to make things this confontational....Was it Rudi not being clear or does it go deeper than that?  I know that people have talked about a major sniffing around....maybe there's actually something to it? If so ...more

Countrygent, I agree in theory with your two options for SEA.  However, a joint tunnelling model is problematic given that the MTT appears to run directly over the Northern portion of Goldstorm (& through Perfectstorm). Over Goldstorm, the MTT appears to be between 300m - 500m deep.  I would assume that this puts it directly in the meat of an eventual Goldstorm mine.  Any ...more

I don't disagree with any of that - and to make matters more disappointing for SEA, TUD likely has years of work ahead before a PEA that could support modelling the capex and operating costs of joint access.   So that all points to consolidation by buyout or JV.  Or a third party senior partner and if course they will want a sweet deal out of both developers.   It's a ...more

I agree with everything you have said here @Jetstream1281.  I have long been hoping that Seabridge would successfully develop KSM given that it would enhance the attractiveness, regional infrastrucure, and viability of Treaty Creek. With the assumption, of course, that a mutually acceptable agreement over the MTT was in place.   However, now that Goldstorm (and the other zones ...more
