RE:"No one has ever produced Dysprosium.."Working on next is on spec samples of the order of magnitude of about 100g each."  That's 22 bucks worth of Dy per sample. How many samples will they produce? How much feedstock, at what yield, are they using to get those samples? 900 tons per year would be 900,000 times as much as one sample.
