Ucore Rare Metals Inc. > Dysprosium export ban?

Dysprosium export ban?

In the last 24 hours, two Shadowplay videos have oddly appeared online with the CCP suggesting an imminent Dysprosium export ban. These are maybe intended as a trial balloon for the incoming administration.

But they raise an interesting point: China could single out this one HREE, and not all REEs, and be considerably damaging. It's not just that rare earths are critical-- but HEAVY rare earths are incredibly critical.

Since Ucore is pioneering Dysprosium processing and also has a large Dysprosium deposit of its own, would any of my students care to guess the price of Ucore stock were such an export ban to happen?
I'll make this a multiple choice test.
A) $29 a share
B)$57 a share
C)$105 a share (remember, half @ 100!)
D) I think my head is exploding!!!

I think under Trump there will be a determined effort to build rare earth stockpiles.  Musk will likely also encourage such a plan.  Ucore would benefit. If Trump raises tariffs on China...China could restrict rare earths but China needs the money also so who knows.   Bottom line the USA needs to become independent in these vital rare earths or we will loose the arms race.

UCORE only benefits if they actually produced something as of now, 2 yrs away from SMC if they ever get 70 million in funding right now they have ZERO, just a few million to help for some testing of RSX
