Solar farm
Exelon buys a 230 MW solar farm in California for $1,36 bil. How does it compare to the 120 MW Winstar wind farm ?

I guess you could compare on dollars paid per MW of power which would be $650 million or so. Gives you a good idea of the value here.

the FMV (fair market value)of Yabucoa is estimated at $206 mil. for 30MW solar. This compares very well with the $1.36 bil. paid for 230MW solar. We do not know if cash grants and others are included in the $1.36 bil.

It comes to about $6M per MW.So that would put Windstar at about $720M for 120mw.
