Liberty

He is also the guy that took Plume to where it is with Liberty Global and not only that LG Ventures has been a huge backer of Plume from the getgo.

While the director of connectivity at Liberty is contributing to this Webinar it is also important to know executives just don't have Carte blanch  (if Leo worked for a big company) to just go say anything they want publically, he would also know any employee or executive cannot just simply go ahead and freely speak on behalf of the company without having gone through the proper business channels which usually include Legal, Public Affairs,  approval and in my industry that is almost always has a sign off from CTO, CFO or CEO in most occasaions.

not only that I would expect Andrew do release news on this and if he is going to use libertys name in any capacity more then what is noted in the webinar and obvious NDA he will need approval from none otier then the three C level execs listed above. Leo downplaying everyday he can or if more obvious like Leo and Royal using the approach to ignore it and disregard it as a way to control any discussion of it.....,,kinda like what the industry at large has done for 22 years, hmmmmmmmm. Didn't Light Reading call it a new silicone architecture? Hmmmm

I anticipate Leo to reach out to light reading to provide some corrections to their erroneous claim.

Google an alphabet might operate like that  With one division they have, but having the Director of connectivity and how many other ...more

Yes Tommy you've said it over and over, "no big company is going to waste their time working with a tiny company like Yfi unless they're 100% going to do something with them". Over and over. It's an amateur hour sentiment. Company's look for opportunity and spend money on tons of initiatives. They know only a small percentage of things will pan out. Cuz if you're not ...more

Tommy has this vision of big companies that is pretty funny. In his world they are meticulous in their planning. Every dime is spent on things that work. Every level is involved in every project. Nothing could be further than the truth. For what it cost to do whatever it was Yfi did with LG it wouldn't be an important line item. R&D budgets at LG would be large.
