Coeur sells Southern Nevada Holding for 150mil

Now it looks like a safe bet that the huge volume we have had over the last few weeks was Coeur selling the last of VG shares. With all of the downward pressure hopefully behind us, maybe we will see some recovery.

Swing Did you take time to read the financials? They were cash flow negative while averaging over $1900 gold . AISC was over $1700 which means AIC was likely well over $1800. So with gold at $1600 where should the share price be? Yes it sound simple because it is as simple as that.
Comment by Swingandmiss on Sep 19, 2022 2:00pm
Yes I am aware of all of those issues. I am also aware that AISC will go down as production goes up in H2.  That was not my point. Now that Coeur would seem to have cleared out, the sp will be where is deserved to be based on market factors and not 9mil shares being dumped on the open market.  That's fair isn't it???
Comment by givemeabreak1 on Sep 19, 2022 3:51pm
No it is not fair. The share price is where it is do to POG and lack of performance. It has nothing to do with Coeur.

Just overlay victoria chart with the POG chart they are identical. The Couer sale occurs while both the POG and Victoria shares are tanking.

Swingandmiss, I had to log out to see who you were responding to.  Not surprisingly it was the long-time troll, gimmeabreak whom I had put on ignore a long time ago.  I'd recommend you do the same because you can't trust anything he says. To clarify, Q2 cash costs were US$828, AISC was US$1371, operating earnings were C$20.1 million, eps was $0.27/share.  Cash flow was ...more

It is not because CDE sold Crown-Sterling yesterday that CDE also sold its Victoria shares. I do not understand what allows this deduction to some?

Can anyone here kind of tell me what the heck has happened to the valuation of Victoria . Always thought it was a great gold mine to invest in with growth, Hmmmmmm...?
Comment by givemeabreak1 on Sep 23, 2022 12:23am
yoshka Pretty simple 1.  Costs up 2.  Gold price down 3.  Negative cash flow while selling gold at $1900 what happens at $1600 4.  Cash position much lower than payables! At anyrate before I get all the bagholders calling me a basher.  I actually think this might not be a bad re-entry point for me just concerned with their cash position.  Other than that turns out ...more
