Just a reminder:   The US Markets are closed Monday. With Volta traded in the states under the symbol VLTAF, any news that might be pending is apt to be released on Tuesday when both markets are open.

Can someone with any insight define what is meant by the term "game changer" for the Kiaka deposit. Does it mean higher overall grades? Increased overall resource? Lower strip ratio and waste rock? Longer mine life? Lower cost? Increased IRR? I realize the resource will grow, but by how much? 500k? or 5MM? Cheers.

The big beef about Volta has always been low grades, even though we have upwards of 5 million ounces at Kiaka alone.  The guys in the industry including the CEO of Randgold all take grades very seriously and it is only recently that it has been considered economical to develop a lower grade mine.  Brent Cook has suggested that if South Kiaka has a significant highgrade deposit it could ...more
