Big volume and closed 8% off the high for today.Any thoughts as to the possible reasons?

I have been trying to figure it out because the price has gotten to a rediculous point. Either a fund is selling ( maybe someone like Ninepoint ) , Enbridge blockage has had a significnt effect on  sales volumes, something to do with with CPPIB, or rumors of a dividend cut. I bought more  and of course, it went down again.
