Damm thought a buyout was in the cards

nice to see them raising the dividend already , I wish they could of got a higher price for the offering $5.10 per share seems a little on the low side, any thoughts?

The purchasers in the market  today were short shifted. Almost bought some in the market today @ $5.60. Scotia has already closed their allotment of the offering. managed to put in for some before they closed, will  see how many I get.

I bought shares in this company a few years back when it was West Fire and have traded in and out a couple of times. Still hold a 'core' position. I understand from my advisor that this placement is closed. I also requested some shares as soon as I saw the NR but who knows how many I will get. I like the 8.24 % yield at the $5.10 issue price. It should be sustainable although I wonder how ...more

 I agree. I jumped the gun before reading the press release. I Read the headlines only. The increase was based on aquisition. Not revised increase based on past guidance pre aquisition. I noticed the same $5.10 and thought it was low, however bought deals cost money up front. Makes sense why the price was held back for so long as I stated earlier. Right on cue.... raise money for growth.  ...more

Yeah last time they came out with a news release about switching to the dividend model the market didn't like it, our Nav has increased to $8.50 per share, production has increased and so has our dividend, negatives are more shares being printed, see what tomorrow brings.....

Dang that's good news...   Just please don't hit $6...   I wrote a call in January that's about to come up in 10 days...    Let's hit $6 later this month...   Dangit...
