RE RE: Re:Enviromental Disaster.....

One can hope even if they (we) don't get a shot at this one, maybe we will at least get the attention of the big players and a maybe be involved a solution for cleaning up these spills in the future.
What if the current 5000 BPD units were grouped and run in parallel could they not be set up on a Barge or tanker and deployed with the booms to skim the surface oil? Say 10 units for 50,000 BPD?
Maybe the technology is currently available over 5000 BPD?
With hundreds of these offshore rigs just in the Gulf of Mexico you know there will be more to come.

Lets suppose they get a shot at this. Lets amuse ourselves for a moment.Units grouped and run in parallel set up on barges or tankers would most definitely be a solution (I like that idea froggy51) but 5000BPD units just wouldn't cut it, they would need units than could produce much greater volumes. Do they have this technology? Not to my knowledge, but to simply just separate the ...more

WHY does wescorp put out misleading pr's?? Why oh why?I assume that the guy who wrote the tweet doesn't have a clue or he is writing what he is told which in itself is quite questionable. The most offensive misleading (being kind) pr that I recall is the one that said that there was actually a contract for a second kansas unit. Even worse it was never rescinded.

Why would you ask this question? This tweet was not Wescorp generated. Why don't you call Ben DuPont and ask him why the tweet was written, it is quite questionable, I would love to know why it was written. Why oh why indeed. You sound positive no further units will be going to Kansas? How do you know this? The problem with Wescorps PR's is the overwhelming majority of timelines have ...more

Think about this for awhile...If they actually had something good here do you think they would have to put out misleading NR"s?

This is a completely plausible situation Doug Biles was the Managing Director of TransOcean and Transworld Oil in the 80’s. I am sure that his contact list is huge. Rob Powers is the President of the Young Presidents Association, was the co-chair of Blakes National Energy Law Group, a tier 1 lawyer. So he too would also have a large contact list in the gas and oil sector Ben DuPont and yet2.com ...more

How is salt water not an issue?  I'm no chemist, but I know that corrosive aspects of salt water are much greater than with fresh water.  As someone else pointed out, they haven't presented investors results from full scale testing on the Cancen units.  Sound like a lot of grasping at straws to me.  It's also not entirely clear to me that Biles is well connected ...more

The oil that is pumped out of wells is formed on the bottom of ancient sea bed floors. The salt content is EXTREMLEY high so these units were designed to withstand that environment. It’s a natural fit. Also since WSCE can get the oil in the water to >29 PPM it can be dumped right back into the ocean while the oil is pumped into barges. Recovering money from lost oil.
