Inmatec

I asked Brandon why no revenues for inmatec and was told it wasn't disclosed at request of the seller. Why would inmatec request this? Was told to extrapolate revenues based on multiples previously paid. So based on that they paid a 9x multiple roughly 35 million for inmatec which puts them around 4 million revenue a year. Feel free to offer a rebuttal of this information but those are the numbers I come up with.

Doesn't even pass the sniff test. I hope no one believes that Inmatec that has been around for 25 years only generates $4M in rev annually given their product and area they service. Look at the acquisition of Titus and AirFlow, how much was paid vs. their annual revenues and what their EBITDA was and I believe you are off by one order of magnitude (factor of 10) and that takes into account ...more

I don't believe they are a high revenue business and I'm pretty confused that many do.  If this was a material deal or contributor to top or bottom line, the deal would have been substantiated by it's own respective PR with details. Again, why would anyone assume that a deal that was mentioned as a 'by the way' at the end of the hydrogen acquisition PR would be note worthy ...more

Inmatec is fully exempt from all taxes and only subject to a license fee, which must be renewed annually. INMATEC has the experience of having installed more than 8,500 plants across the globe. In 2020 we saw a significant increase in worldwide orders, especially from Peru, Great Britain, India and the Arab countries. The companies in Ras Al Khaimah favourable taxation laws, business-friendly ...more

Maintenance for 8,500 plants around the world is in my opinion bringing a whole lot more revenues

yes, that will generate nice revenues. we have a membrane generator from a diffrent company and we were offered maintenance contract for 10k/year when purchasing. a fridge size unit, nothing large.  just the membrane is 2k and is to be changed annualy plus add some fancy airfilters for abour 1k 2x year.  4-5k/ year just  on parts from the manufacturer

And that is where the high margins would kick in. Proprietarty parts and service.Who would cheap out on aftermarket parts and service when someone's life bepends on the device.

It is my understanding that US hospitals have very little on site generation of oxygen.  They are largely supplied by oxygen tanks from an outside provider.  Pre-COVID that has worked because total oxygen needs and costs have been relatively low and the inestment for onsite oxygen generation was not economoical.  COVID has changed that dramatically.  COVID patients primarily ...more

Are you suggesting they paid 35 million for a company generating 40 million a year in revenue?
Comment by Newtrader1982 on May 01, 2021 7:51pm
I stand corrected went back and looked at some of the other acquisitions as you suggested and it looks like based on other acquisitions the revenues would be much higher than 4 million.

They sold 48 medical oxygen generators to India for $2.4M. They sold 244 all in last year. They could hit 260 to 270 this year based on the first quarter numbers They sell more than oxy generators The number I come up with is lot higher. Much higher
