New COO

generally new employees start on a Monday just saying. Next week sounds far away but it's 2 trading days away.

They could easily not start for a month even if they annouce early next week. Probably found through a head hunter nand will need to give notice and maybe move. May need immigration papers if from europe or the U.S. who knows?

that all may be true but negotiations may have been happening behind the scenes for a while now all that could have already taken place already. Either way the market will react to the news not when whoever it is comes in for the first day but I get your points.

Get comfortable guys, and don't kid yourself by thinking the stock is going to pop for any sustainable period based on news that we have a COO haha.  That's like someone expecting a raise for not pissing their pants at a meeting.  Having a COO is a minimum standard, and us finally having someone in a sit that should never have been vacant in the first place will not be cause for ...more

Nobody here thinks the sp is gonna get a boost from a coo but it will instill a sense of normalcy and confidence I think moving forward. I also think at the point you are being way too pessimistic about the company as are many others that will change over time with results but by then many will have to buy back shares at a much higher sp than now because they didn't envision the path to ...more
